Darren Long

Senior Trader, ECOM USA

Darren Long is a Senior Trader with the ECOM Cotton Group and Deputy CEO of ECOM USA, where he helps oversee U.S. and global trading and operations. Darren has been involved in the cotton industry since 2008, serving in a variety of roles with ECOM in physical cotton and commodity derivatives trading in the United States and abroad. Currently, Darren serves on the board of directors and is second Vice Chairman of the American Cotton Shippers Association, on the board of the Southern Cotton Shippers Association, and is a delegate to the National Cotton Council. After growing up in Virginia, Darren received a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and a master’s degree in international relations from the Fletcher School at Tufts University. He is currently based in Connecticut where he lives with his wife Caitlin and their two boys.

The biennial COTTON USA™ Summit is hosted by Cotton Council International and the U.S. cotton industry in cooperation with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Services (FAS).
